We at Big Booty Britches believe that healthy dogs, cats and other domesticated pets should NOT be in vet clinic when it is not necessary. When it comes to our fur babies though, most of us would rather be 'safe than sorry' and I don't know anyone that would hesitate in getting their fur babies in for a second opinion.
With vets being so incredibly expensive (which they should be for the level of expertise), sometimes all we need is someone on the other end of a chat messenger box telling us if their pooch needs hospitalisation then and there or if they just need some rest and can wait to attend their usual vet in the morning.
This brought us to the conclusion that we could/should partner with some veterinarians, vet nurses and veterinary specialists to provide a subsidised service be able to ask questions, get a second opinion and just give you some peace of mind if what you are experiencing is or is not an emergency. Nobody knows your fur baby but you, but in these economic times, nobody really wants a few thousand dollar trip to the emergency (out of hours vet hospital) if it can be avoided. Chats are private, confidential indwell only be conducted with the account holder. Even if you only use the service once, a single question and chat will pay for itself compared to a vet consult.

At first it was Darren and I. A couple that lived together, played together, loved together. After two years of dating, we decided it was time to take the next step - we got a puppy.
We spent a long time trying to figure out the perfect breed for us. Not too big, not too small, pretty active but not needing a farm to keep busy. We were tossing up breeds for a very long time. Labrador? Golden Retriever? Spaniel? None of them quite clicked with us. It wasn't until we met Chunky Monkey that our lives changed forever.
Chunky Monkey is a second-generation Australian Bulldog. I had previously worked in the veterinary industry and thought I was well educated in dogs..... these guys are not dogs. They are fur babies, love bugs, tiny terrorists who chuck tantrums and the most loving and hilarious four-legged doggo that will ever walk this earth.
We picked him up at the tender age of 7 weeks old as mum could no longer support them and since then our lives have changed for the best forever. Since then, we've adopted a more 'mature' female named Princess Sophie and these derpy kids make our family.
What lead us to start Big Booty Britches & Accessories was an inability to find Apparel that fit a bully correctly. These little lumps have broad chests, short bodies, usually look fat (even though they often aren't) and just don't fit in standard sets. On top of that, our babies are that little bit 'Extra'. They need to look good at all times so the prints are designed to ensure your babies feel fabulous always.
